Praise God for answering our prayers last month: saving many youth at camp, meeting financial needs, Caleb is signed up for Latvian kindergarten, our new Latvian teacher, our 8th wedding anniversary...
Please pray for
- The teens from youth camp to continue in God's grace, opportunities to disciple them
- For smaller kids and parents to be reached at next Vacation Bible School in Ogre July 21-25
- The process of renewing our residency permits, for all documents to be ready by July 14
- For Sunday and Wednesday Studies in Ikskile, that the Lord would build up the saints
- Mitch, Dennis and Frank coming to serve, evangelize and encourage August 5-18

ReplyDeleteFirst I must ask, where did that beautiful cake come from? WOW! I looked at the photo close up, and it looks terrific (and too pretty to eat---almost!)
I also am blessed by the Lord's faithfulness to answer prayer. Remember when you asked if at least one person would come to the Lord! Well, He did that and more! Awesome!
Your family and ministry bless John and I and inspire us, that in God's time, we also may be able to serve Him and His servants overseas.

The cake was from an independance day party that the US Embassy threw Riga. We went as a family and Lena wrote about it on her blog and posted more pics and a video. www.lenapowers.blogspot.com
